Unity 2006 - Fashion Show

MODEL S WANTED

1) THE SHOWS

From the civilizations of 5,000 years ago to the present day, South Asia has hosted countless numbers of cultures, creating a land with diverse beliefs where modern concerns mesh with traditional values. CMR and TVI’s Spring/ Summer Festival 2006 is simply about featuring the best of this diverse multicultural community. In keeping with this concept of togetherness, the fashion show will be called “Unity 2006”.

	THE SHOWS
	The Unity 2006 Multi Ethnic Fashion Show will feature formal, casual and bridal wears highlighting both traditional and more western cultural fashions. Four thirty-minute segments will be featured during the two-day event.
	THE COLLECTION
	The show will feature the newest in summer, formal and bridal collections. Everything from wedding dresses, heavy embroidered sarries, lehenga cholis, evening gowns to sundresses and cotton salvars will be showcased. As well, men’s suits, kurtas, jodhpuris, and sherwani’s will also make an appearance on stage. The focus of this show is about highlighting some of the newest trends in fashion that can be easily obtained at the show.

2) MODELS WANTED
EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED!!!

The South Asian Festival is currently seeking Models for its largest Multicultural Fashion Show. Unity ’06 will showcase some of the most exotic eastern wear combined with chic urban western wear.

This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in runway modeling & fashion to participate in one of the most high profile shows in Toronto.

We are looking for enthusiastic, mature, capable individuals, 16 years of age or older, who work well under pressure.

We are looking for both Female and Male models of all ethnicities.

All models are expected to make a 2-3 day commitment at minimum for rehearsals and fittings in addition to the show days of Sep 2nd and 3rd
