Individual musical talents from many walks of life put forth their best performances at the finals to win their chances to create their debut album. Canadian Talent Development Journalism Scholarships


The Canadian Multicultural Radio Journalism award, a whopping $2500.00, is given to the most deserving and outstanding student of Humber School of Media Studies who excels in academics and in journalism studies. A scholarship worth $2000.00 created to develop new ethnic journalists and on-air talents is presented to a deserving new student entering media studies at Humber College. And a $2500.00 bursary is awarded a deserving student in the School Media Studies at Humber College. CMR takes great pride in investing a grand total of $7000.00 annually to develop new ethnic journalists.

Cross Cultural Music Festival


It is a concert series beyond boundaries. This festival enables local musicians to share and celebrate their cultural sounds and music with others. Headline concerts include Bollywood, Punjabi and Pakistani performances featuring popular musicians and renowned international stars. Filipino, Caribbean and Tamil music concerts are among the many musical delights of the event.

Multicultural Dance Festival


A celebration of unique cultural dances, brought to life through their authentic and innovative fusion ideas. The showcase features African, Brazilian, Kathak, Bhangra, Baratha Natyam, Arabian, Mohini, Flaminco, Folk Dances and Various other fusion items from around the world.

Theatrical Entertainment


A showcase of various Theatrical performances, Sit-coms, Stand up comedy routines and
spoken word entertainment.

Zero Gravity Circus


A troupe of professional artists will perform high impact Solo acts, Acrobatics, Fire stunts, Juggling acts, Wire walking, Plate spinning, Hula Hoop act and site animations using traditional and contemporary circus style disciplines.

Magic Show


A Stage magic presentation involving illusions that dazzle and amaze the audience. This show, performed by a professional team, includes everything from transforming handkerchiefs to doves to locking up people in giantsized ovens.

Outdoor Carnival


Children and teens will be entertained by magicians, clowns, gymnasts, face painting, tattoos, arcade games and much more. Train rides, Ferris wheels, Jumping castles, Merry-go-round and other rides provide an excellent opportunity for all to enjoy the spring weather while exciting their senses. The large variety of activities caters to children of all ages.

Food Festival


Food from around the world will be featured that are sure to excite the taste buds.
